Job Title:

Education Support Role - Supporting Teachers and Students

Job Description:

This role is responsible for providing support to teachers and students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for supporting the educational needs of students.

The successful candidate will be required to perform a range of tasks including:

  • Providing routine support for teachers including assisting with planning of student routines
  • Supporting communication between teachers and parents
  • Communicating with teachers on routine matters related to students and/or other responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing basic physical care and wellbeing support for students such as toileting, meals, and lifting
  • Communicating with students to support comprehension of basic tasks and information
  • Addressing immediate behavioural presentations relating to specific students within a classroom setting aligned to school policy and procedure

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting the educational needs of students
