Accounts Assistant Role

This position entails a diverse set of responsibilities within the realm of bookkeeping and financial administration.

  • Assistance with fortnightly employee payroll processing
  • Preparation of monthly contractors' remuneration
  • Management of all payroll-related activities, including onboarding, updating & exit processes
  • Daily reconciliation of bank accounts and accounts receivable receipting
  • Coordination of accounts payable and ensuring timely payments
  • Generation of invoices using Xero
  • Debtor collections via Xero and Genie
  • Closure of month-end reconciliation, which includes banking of cash and cheques
  • Support to company accountant in preparation of quarterly BAS and annual tax lodgements
  • Registration and update of clinical providers with Health funds
  • Update of clinical billing items and other administrative tasks on Genie
  • Assistance with ad-hoc duties as required by management
