Job Opportunities in Clinical Psychology

About the Role

We are currently seeking clinical psychologists with experience in assessment and treatment of mental health disorders.

The ideal candidate will have strong therapeutic skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Delivering individual and group therapy sessions to patients with diverse psychopathologies.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of treatment plans.
  • Attending multidisciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive care.

Successful candidates will be registered with AHPRA, hold relevant qualifications in psychology, and possess experience in delivering various therapeutic modalities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Appropriate recognised qualifications in Psychology (i.e., Masters, DPsych or PhD).
  • Experience in delivering a wide range of therapeutic modalities.
  • Excellent organisation, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to work as part of a high functioning, multidisciplinary team.
Benefits

Candidates selected for this role will receive a salary based on their years of relevant experience against the Enterprise Agreement 'Healthscope - Psychologists and Dieticians Agreement 2023-2026', which includes a Higher Qualifications Allowance may be paid in addition to the base rate.

Other Information

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Working with Children Check and provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 and Influenza.
