Assistant Director Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced professionals to fill Assistant Director positions across National Security and International Coordination Branch.

About the Role

The successful candidates will contribute their expertise in international or national security policy towards a greener, more sustainable and resilient future. They will work closely with our team to shape Australia's national security and foreign policy agendas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Build, lead and manage diverse high-performing teams including in fast-paced environments.
  • Understand the international and/or national security context and draw linkages across the portfolio to support strategic decision-making, briefing and engagement.
  • Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to identify, understand and deliver on customer requirements.
  • Develop and assist with strategic products for various audiences and stakeholders.
  • Plan and support development of work on cross-cutting international and/or national security issues.
