Strategic Communications Leader

Key responsibilities include managing reputational risks, providing crisis communication expertise, and ensuring the team's outputs align with Council's values and objectives.
Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field are essential. Experience in strategic public relations within a diverse organisation is also required, as well as proven ability to manage media responses during crisis situations. Exceptional writing and communication skills for diverse audiences are necessary. Experience in Local, State, or Federal Government and change management is desirable. A current Driver's Licence is required.
