Senior AI Research Scientist in Multimodal Learning Analytics

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work on Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED) and Educational Data Mining (EDM) projects.
The projects explore how multimodal data from online platforms and sensor-based environments can be harnessed to enhance learning at scale.
- Conduct high-quality research, lead or contribute to publications and research grant applications.
- Play an active role in the supervision of research students (PhD and Honours).
- Provide technical support across the projects.
About You:
- Hold a PhD (or near completion) in relevant fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, HCI.
- Demonstrated contributions to publications in top-tier conferences and journals in data mining/machine learning, AIED, EDM, and HCI.
- Possess strong technical expertise in data mining, data management, and machine learning.
- Motivation to conduct interdisciplinary work and engage with researchers from other fields and industry partners.
- Experience in conducting research/scholarly activities under limited supervision and as part of a research team.
