Supply Chain Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team at Symmetry Human Resources Group Pty Ltd. As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in developing a consensus-driven demand forecast for both domestic and international sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for domestic and international sales channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and imbalances in demand and supply
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs
- Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders to inform business decisions
Requirements:
- Proven experience in demand planning, preferably in the FMCG/Consumer Goods sector
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of business partnerships and the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders
- Degree or ASCI qualification in economics, supply chain management, finance, or a related field
- Practical experience with ERP systems and demand planning tools or simulation software
