Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to lead our team of professionals in delivering high-impact therapy and consultation services across North Queensland.

About the Role
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver formulation-driven therapy and evidence-based psychological interventions
  • Conduct complex forensic assessments and provide responsive, person-centred therapies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treating teams to support continuity of care
  • Provide consultation-liaison services to Hospital and Health Services
  • Mentor and supervise less experienced clinicians
  • Lead training and capacity-building initiatives across mental health teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A 4-year Psychology degree (Honours or Graduate Diploma) and registration with AHPRA
  • Class C Driver's Licence
  • Willingness to travel across Townsville, North West, and Mackay regions, including occasional overnight stays and travel via small aircraft or ferry
