We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering accurate, timely payroll services.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the end-to-end processing of complex payrolls across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Lead payroll testing and analytical review activities to ensure data integrity, identify discrepancies, and support continuous improvement.
- Provide expert support across payroll systems and workflows, including system administration and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure legislative and audit compliance, staying informed of regulatory changes, meeting audit requirements, and managing year-end processes.
- Deliver specialist payroll advice and training, supporting team development, coaching staff, and assisting customers with EBA interpretation and payroll-related queries.
- Demonstrate extensive payroll expertise, including handling weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs in complex environments.
- Skilled in payroll testing and data analysis, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and system integrity.
- Possess a deep understanding of payroll legislation and entitlements, including PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, Workers Compensation, and Long Service Leave.
- Experienced in interpreting EBAs and awards, providing accurate application across various business units.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment in day-to-day operations.
