Cloud Security Specialist Role

The primary objective of this senior role is to develop and maintain a robust security posture within Microsoft cloud technologies. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, with a focus on implementing effective security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Program Management: Identification of potential risks, communication of these risks to stakeholders, and implementation of remediation strategies.
  • Endpoint Security, Identity, and Security Operations: Daily threat management, SIEM system administration, risk monitoring, and planning or automation of interventions as necessary.
  • End User Security Training: Development and delivery of e-learning end-user security training programs, measurement of training effectiveness through phishing simulations and user compliance reports, and maintenance of training records for auditing purposes.
  • Data Management: Collaboration with the Data Governance team to classify and protect sensitive data, implementation and management of data loss prevention policies across Microsoft 365 and cloud environments, and adherence to secure data lifecycle management practices.
Requirements:
  • MS-500 or equivalent certification demonstrating expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies.
  • Deep understanding of the Microsoft application portfolio, particularly those in E5 Security.
  • Microsoft Defender ATP security monitoring and management – security operations.
  • Identity and Access Security Management.
  • Proven experience working as a Security Analyst or Manager.
  • Microsoft Sentinel and Purview.
