Job Title: Cloud Security Strategist

Our organization seeks a skilled Cloud Security Strategist to join our team on a full-time contract basis.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement cloud security strategies that align with our organization's goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure cloud-based solutions.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide expert guidance on cloud security best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure our cloud infrastructure remains secure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 15+ years of experience in Cloud Security Advisory roles, including expertise in Azure Cloud, O365, and Microsoft E5 Security Suite.
  2. Strong background in Security Architecture design and implementation on cloud platforms (Azure, O365, E5 Security; AWS, GCP experience is a plus).
  3. Extensive knowledge in cloud security posture, workload protection, data security, DLP, containers, Kubernetes, SIEM, CASB, data masking, tokenisation, anonymisation, classifications, CIEM, IoT/OT, and security controls deployment.
  4. Proficiency with cloud-native tools such as Microsoft Defender suite, Sentinel, Azure Policy, Azure Advisor, encryption tools, IAM/RBAC/MFA/SSO, SOAR, vulnerability management, logging, PKI, etc.
  5. Relevant certifications, such as CCSP or CISSP, and an educational background in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or Cloud Security.
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead governance forums and guide engineers.
