Are you a seasoned engineering professional looking for a new challenge? As an Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our organization.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, ideally with experience in maintenance, servicing, or overhaul. They will also possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to supervise and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Engineering Manager in the daily running of the engineering operation.
  • Supervise and support the engineering team to ensure safe, timely, and efficient maintenance, servicing, repairs, and cleaning of the fleet.
  • Assist in workload planning and resource allocation to ensure optimum garage performance.
  • Maintain accurate work documentation and oversee proper sign-off procedures.
  • Deliver regular team briefings and shift handovers using Team Talk Boards.
Requirements:
  • A strong engineering background, ideally with experience in heavy vehicles or plant machinery.
  • Recognised apprenticeship, vocational qualification, or relevant degree/diploma in engineering, vehicle maintenance, or a related field.
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and commitment to best practice.
  • Proven ability to supervise and motivate a team in a fast-paced operational environment.
