Job Opportunity:

The role of Principal Consultant is available in Western Australia, involving close collaboration with the Perth EAM&C Team Lead and working with specialist teams at SLR to deliver a comprehensive environmental service to clients across various sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert guidance on best practice environmental and management principles to clients and internal team members
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of business strategies and plans
  • Developing, facilitating, and enhancing effective relationships with clients and internal team members
  • Leading the development of environmental impact assessments, management plans, and supporting clients through their compliance and closure journey
  • Working within and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects across various sectors

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, full working rights in Australia, and a valid WA Driver's Licence. Experience working under Northern Territory legislation and in the land development and/or agribusiness sectors would be highly valued but is not a prerequisite.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in consulting, government, or industry
  • Strong background in project management, due diligence, environmental impact assessment, and approvals under relevant legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Valid WA Driver's Licence
