About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Support Specialist to join our team at Wintringham. As a key member of our IT leadership team, you will be responsible for managing our Enterprise Applications, ensuring high availability and business continuity, and providing exceptional support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our Enterprise Applications, including system upgrades, maintenance, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Monitor and action system upgrades, system maintenance, and disaster recovery processes to ensure high availability and business continuity.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of best practice and prevailing developments in IT and apply these to promote continuous improvement at Wintringham.
  • Manage the organisation's business intelligence/reporting tools to support operations, continuous improvement, and business decision making.
  • Ensure effective application security practices are in place and adhered to, including auditing.
  • Work closely with the IT PMO team to deliver on new application projects.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a similar role, Vendor Support/ Consulting, or IT Consulting role.
  • Excellent problem-solving aptitude & ability to think on your feet.
  • Exceptional communication skills (Written and Verbal).
  • Strong hands-on technical expertise with a range of technologies such as –
    • 'Off-the-shelf' Enterprise Applications in a Microsoft environment
    • SQL Server, Reporting Services, and general reporting skills that could be applied to different technologies
    • Windows Server and 3 tier application architectures
    • IT (Application) Security
    • Exposure to Aged Care or NFP, and Epicor, LeeCare, Riskware, or PayGlobal products would be advantages
  • A readiness to learn new technologies as required.
  • Ability to liaise with staff at every level of the organization.
