About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Diploma Qualified Childcare Educator to join our team at KU Sutherland. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and interactive educational programs that promote children's learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote child safety and wellbeing.
  • Participate in ongoing professional learning and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Australian working rights
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Diploma
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
