High Voltage Specialist

The Public Transport Authority is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of our traction power network. As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation and long-term sustainability of the PTA's 25kV Traction Power System.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialist engineering expertise in the maintenance, design, construction, upgrades, and modifications of the PTA's 25kV Traction Power System.
- Monitor and review system performance, plan and schedule maintenance activities, and ensure compliance, reliability, and alignment with the PTA's long-term vision.
- Contribute to inspections, testing, modelling, and audits, delivering recommendations to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective network operations.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with demonstrated knowledge of high voltage protection relays, SCADA systems, and 25kV Traction Power design, construction, and maintenance in a railway environment.
- Strong ability to quickly interpret and apply complex engineering principles, with proven experience in project and contract management within an operational setting.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build stakeholder relationships, supported by well-developed analytical skills to resolve complex technical and operational issues.
