Seeking an exceptional educator to join our team as a Special Education Teacher. We offer a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with disabilities.

Job Description
  • Provide direct instruction and instructional support to students with disabilities, collaborating closely with general education teachers to ensure seamless learning experiences.
  • Monitor and evaluate student outcomes, using data-driven insights to inform instructional strategies and drive academic progress.
  • Assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), tailoring educational plans to meet the distinct needs of each student.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in special education, with a strong foundation in learning theory, differentiated instruction, and child development.
  • Fluent in research-based reading instruction, multicultural education, and assessments, with expertise in collecting and analyzing data to drive instructional decisions.
  • Student teaching experience or two years of teaching experience at the elementary or secondary level, with a focus on supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Certification in Standard Professional Certification I (SPC I) in special education, with a preference for certification in a content area.
