About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Work, Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Rest. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and wellbeing initiatives and programs to support Rest's strategic objectives.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including workplace health and safety laws.
  • Collaborate with leaders and employees to ensure a culture of health and safety within the organisation.
  • Provide guidance and advice on health and safety matters, including risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Monitor and report on health and wellbeing metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance quality and effectiveness.
  • Promote a culture of health and wellbeing, advocating for the embedding of wellbeing, health, and safety principles in individual and organisational performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is essential.
  • Return to Work certification is desirable.
  • Experience in implementing health and wellbeing activities and programs, with a demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and its application.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
