Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. This role involves developing, building, configuring, maintaining and documenting key components of a Defence stand-alone network for implementation into a production environment.

The successful candidate will have experience with Data Centre Architecture – Network, Compute, Storage and Network Services, Network Engineering (Cisco Enterprise Networking including WAN, LAN, and Data Centre), Software Defined Networking, and Network and Network Security Design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a Defence stand-alone network, including network support, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Lead design, build, test and configuration activities for new and existing network elements in an Agile-like environment.
  • Develop Build Instructions and detailed designs (including network specifications and schematics for network architecture).

Requirements:

  • Data Centre Architecture – Network, Compute, Storage and Network Services
  • Network Engineering (Cisco Enterprise Networking including WAN, LAN, and Data Centre)
  • Software Defined Networking
  • Network and Network Security Design
