About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roster & Timesheet Management Specialist to join our team at Queensland Rail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Day of Operations (DOO) roster function for the Rail Management Centre (RMC) - Control, ensuring the DOO roster meets business requirements and relevant legislation.
  • Plan and prepare rosters across multiple business areas, allocating resources to meet special events, maintenance programs, and service disruptions.
  • Maintain knowledge of rostering guidelines, rules, agreements, and legislation, applying this expertise in the creation of RMC&O Rosters.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to achieve rostering best practices.
Requirements:
  • Previous rostering and FAID experience is required.
  • Advanced level knowledge of MS Office is necessary.
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Comfortable working in high-paced environments and adaptable to change, with solutions-focused approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
