  • We have an exciting leadership opportunity for a senior production leader to join our team.
  • This role requires a leader who can provide manufacturing technical guidance and direction to the operational business, ensuring that we deliver high-quality work that meets all legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Provide manufacturing technical guidance and direction to the operational business.
  • Work collaboratively with the Engineering and Manufacturing function lead team.
  • Ensure both tactical and strategic demand for manufacturing technical capability is defined in a complete, effective, and timely manner.
  • Build strong relationships with key manufacturing customers and the manufacturing community.
  • Ensure the integrity of manufacturing processes throughout the business and the manufactured products delivered.
  • Be responsible for managing governance and continuous improvement of key manufacturing processes including Make vs Buy decisions, Operational Reviews, and Regular Governance Meetings.

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant discipline in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or Project Management.
  • Senior leadership experience in manufacturing management, preferably in defence or heavy engineering industry.
  • Experience working across the manufacturing lifecycle with exposure to innovation, continuous improvements, and managing change.
  • Highly developed negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to use multiple leadership styles to motivate performance.
  • Well-developed self-management skills with an ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Critical thinker with strong analytical skills demonstrated through critical decision making.
