Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to join our team in Portland. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical engineering services that meet our clients' specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering electrical engineering services that meet our clients' needs and statutory requirements.
  2. Identifying and reporting changes to project scope.
  3. Assisting with proposal preparation, budgeting, and scheduling.
  4. Providing technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  5. Conducting studies, analyses, and recommending actions.
  6. Preparing detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.
  7. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in electrical engineering.
  8. Supporting junior personnel within the electrical engineering team.
  9. Communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  10. Identifying and resolving issues and problems.

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Effective technical and practical skills, with a proven track record of delivering quality work.
  • Good working knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering principles and other relevant fields.
  • Familiarity with local and international standards and statutory specifications.
  • Competent use of electrical engineering software and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in Mining, Minerals, or Metals industries.
  • Some job site or factory experience.
  • Preferred: Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or equivalent.
  • Valid working rights for Australia.
