About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Accountant to lead our financial operations. As the Chief Financial Operations Manager, you will be pivotal in overseeing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with Australian standards, and optimizing financial systems to support rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting tasks, including trust accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with Australian standards.
  • Create and deploy scalable accounting processes and systems to handle high transaction volumes efficiently.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 5 remote bookkeepers based in the Philippines, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Work closely with management to provide insightful financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to Australian accounting standards and real estate regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to drive business performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record as a Trust Account Manager, Bookkeeper, or similar role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is ideal but not necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, real estate regulations, and financial management practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor remote teams effectively.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
