We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Event Coordinator. As a key member of the events team, you will be responsible for supporting internal and external stakeholders for Council and local community events.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate the delivery of Council's major event program and ancillary events, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  • Manage all aspects of pre-production, production, and post-production requirements, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and logistics.
  • Source appropriate participants for events, considering factors such as talent, expertise, and availability.
  • Develop new events for the program on a one-off or ongoing basis, leveraging your creativity and attention to detail.
  • Supervise staff, volunteers, and contractors at events, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Participate in post-event reviews, analyzing successes and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for future enhancements.
