Senior Full Stack Engineer Opportunity

Are you an experienced software engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have the skills and expertise to lead a team of engineers in designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality digital solutions on AWS?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our company as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of engineers and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure, scalable digital solutions on AWS, aligned with platform standards.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring code quality and best practice adherence.
  • Collaborate with the Product Lead to design solutions for business use cases using established patterns.
  • Act as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on goals.
  • Manage backlog, Agile ceremonies, and sprint planning to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Obtain a deep understanding of the core platform, then mentor team members and act as the Platform SME to promote consistent and effective use.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep experience with core AWS services including Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, and AWS CDK.
  • Strong backend skills in TypeScript (Node.js), Python; familiarity with frontend frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Proficient with orchestration tools (Orkes and Step Functions desirable) and integration patterns; strong understanding of API security (OAuth2).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS Code Pipeline, and infrastructure automation.
  • Proven track record in leading teams, Agile delivery, and designing scalable, reliable solutions with technical documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and effectively lead an engineering team.
