Senior Retirement Community Manager

About the Opportunity:

Our client is a leading provider in the retirement living sector, known for creating modern, connected communities where residents can enjoy independence, comfort, and peace of mind.

The company has multiple premium villages across Brisbane and is expanding, seeking passionate Village Managers to lead operations across a number of established and new locations.

These are hands-on leadership roles suited to professionals who take pride in building strong communities, delivering exceptional resident experiences, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Whether you're a seasoned Village Manager or an experienced assistant ready to step up, there are openings suited to your experience and leadership style.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead & Inspire: Oversee daily operations and lead your village team, ensuring service excellence and a people-first approach.
  • Build Community: Foster a positive, connected environment for residents, staff, and families.
  • Drive Performance: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and report to senior management.
  • Uphold Compliance: Maintain safety, risk, and legislative standards in line with the QLD Retirement Villages Act.
  • Enhance Lifestyle: Coordinate and support engaging resident activities and community initiatives.

You will bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in retirement living, hospitality, property, or customer-focused sectors.
  • A natural relationship builder with strong communication skills.
  • Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and reporting.
  • Sound knowledge of Queensland Retirement Villages legislation (or a strong willingness to learn).
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to team and community management.
