Job Overview

The Home Support Officer is a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences to residents, families, visitors, and colleagues. This position requires outstanding communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Oversight: Ensure home rosters are effectively managed according to the Home Manager's or Clinical Leadership team's direction to provide optimal service.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the day-to-day administration of the Home, ensuring activities are clear and timely to support seamless delivery of consumer care.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure rostering allocations comply with Award/Agreement provisions.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Custodial Services: Provide exceptional customer service skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate ability to understand and use contemporary IT applications and platforms (including MS Office, Teams etc.) and capacity to learn new ones when required.
  • Administrative Experience: Possess relevant experience in an administrative role in a complex environment or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • Organizational Acumen: Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize own workload and work effectively both independently and as part of a team, meeting competing deadlines and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Healthcare Familiarity: Previous experience in aged/healthcare.
