RMIT University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our School of Engineering as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and research in the areas of Geo-infrastructure, road pavements, and civil engineering materials. They will contribute to the development of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as well as engage in research and industry collaborations.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and coordinate courses in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, including undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Conduct research in the areas of Geo-infrastructure, road pavements, and civil engineering materials, and publish research outputs in high-quality outlets.
- Develop and maintain industry partnerships and collaborations, and contribute to the development of new research initiatives.
- Supervise higher degree by research candidates and contribute to the development of the School's research culture.
- Contribute to the development of the School's research strategy and contribute to the development of new research initiatives.
- PhD in a related field or approved AQF equivalency with relevant industry experience.
- Excellent teaching and research skills, with a strong track record of publications and industry collaborations.
