Academic Lecturer in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering

We are seeking a passionate Lecturer to contribute to both teaching and research in areas such as Energy and Civil Infrastructure Resilience at RMIT University's School of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and impactful teaching across multiple programs.
- Drive research excellence in your area of expertise, with a focus on infrastructure resilience.
- Build meaningful industry and academic partnerships to promote our programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to inspire and lead future engineering talent.
- Contribute to course coordination and curriculum development.
- Demonstrated experience and track record in the research domain of Energy and Civil Infrastructure Resilience.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including online delivery.
- Ability to undertake course coordination role.
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and to negotiate sensitively with students.
- Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise higher degree by research candidates.
- Ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects.
- Mandatory: PhD in a related field or approved AQF equivalency with relevant industry experience.
- Preferred: Completion of the Intro to Learning and Teaching Course or possess (or eligible to apply for) appropriate HEA Fellowship.
