Lecturer in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering

RMIT University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lecturer in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering to join our innovative academic team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of infrastructure resilience through teaching and research.
As a Lecturer in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and research in areas such as energy and civil infrastructure resilience. You will have the opportunity to engage with undergraduate, Masters, and Graduate Diploma students, delivering dynamic learning experiences and advancing your research profile.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research in energy and civil infrastructure resilience, with a focus on computational fluid dynamics modeling, air pollution control engineering, wastewater heat recovery, building energy retrofitting, and energy efficiency in building HVAC systems. You will also have experience in preparing and delivering programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high-quality curriculum or program materials.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about teaching and research, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration. You will be required to work effectively with students, staff, and industry partners to advance the department's research and teaching goals.
The successful candidate will be appointed at Academic Level B, with a salary range of $110,868 - $131,659 p.a. + 17% Superannuation. The appointment is subject to passing a Working with Children Check and other checks as required by the specific role.
