This full-time permanent position is based at our facility and will see you responsible for the direct day-to-day activities ensuring smooth operation and contract performance objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with the Client to ensure agreed expectations are met.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Train and develop your team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Support and implement change initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Achieve best practice, safety, and quality standards in all aspects of the role.
  • Provide data and analytics to inform stakeholders and highlight risks.
  • Look for opportunities for innovation and improvement to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Manage financial control, including working to strict monthly budgets, forecasting, and recommending maintenance improvements in productivity and/or cost.

About You:

  • Proven management and leadership capability in a workshop environment.
  • Defence background highly regarded.
  • Trade qualification or maintenance experience advantageous.
  • Ability to interact and drive performance with technical staff and subcontractors.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting, negotiating, and writing reports.
  • Intermediate level MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Driver's Licence.
