About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist diverse customers in overcoming personal and professional challenges to achieve sustained financial and social self-reliance.
  • Deliver coaching to improve employability skills, confidence, and career planning to support customers in finding suitable employment opportunities.
  • Prepare high-quality resumes, cover letters, and support the job application process to increase customers' chances of securing employment.
  • Finding suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocating on their behalf to ensure they receive the support they need.
  • Refer customers to internal and external support services for housing, mental health, and financial counseling to address any underlying issues.
  • Provide additional mentoring and support during the first six months of employment to ensure customers have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
  • Document customer information and progress accurately within our systems to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with our team.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about helping others and has a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our customers. You will be self-motivated, inclusive, and open-minded, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Strong administration skills and IT literacy, including data entry, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Ability to meet a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.
