Therapist Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team, providing speech therapy services to children and families in need.

As a graduate speech therapist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, developing tailored treatment plans and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

In this rewarding role, you will help children achieve development milestones in communication, participating in daily activities with confidence and ease. You will educate and involve parents, carers, and others around the child to support language development.

You will also address stuttering and articulation disorders, improve fluency and confidence, and treat literacy, reading, and writing difficulties with teachers and schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality speech therapy services to children and families
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, occupational therapists, and psychologists
  • Conduct assessments and make recommendations for speech therapy interventions
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or related field
  • Current registration with the Speech Pathology Association (SPA)
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • First Aid and CPR certification
