Talking Blocks Speech Therapy, based in West and North West Sydney, provides tailored, evidence-based speech therapy support to children with speech sound difficulties, language delays, and communication needs. Our mission is to create engaging, meaningful sessions that empower children and support families through one-on-one therapy, school-based support, and innovative programs like the Speech Sound Read (SSR) Program. We emphasise practical strategies and home-based resources and practice in a culturally responsive and neurodiversity-affirming way. Our aim is to build strong communication foundations, making talking fun, functional, and empowering.
Role Description
Talking Blocks Speech Therapy is looking for a passionate, driven Speech Pathologist to join our growing mobile team as a contractor for 2-3 days per week, with a view to increasing days as caseload builds. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, and providing direct therapy to children. Additional tasks include collaborating with families and school staff, documenting progress, and utilising practical strategies and home-based resources.
