Job Title:

Sr. Tier II Network Configuration Specialist

Job Summary:

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Tier II Network Configuration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Digital Modernization Sector, you will be responsible for supporting computer data communications systems, providing design specifications, testing, and inspections for computer networks, and planning and implementing upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices.
  • Create and maintain an up-to-date record of all system components, including hardware and software.
  • Respond to and resolve incident tickets.
  • Establish and maintain consistency of system or product performance, functions, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information.
  • Draft and implement standard network change requests.
  • Coordinate with external Configuration Management stakeholders across the ecosystem.
  • Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
  • Develop policy for documenting and changing baseline project configuration items.
  • Configure and troubleshoot layer 2 switching.
  • Utilize complex network analysis tools to identify and correct problems in the network.
Requirements:
  • TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
  • 16 years of experience, which can be a combination of work history and education.
  • Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of CISCO/Juniper RMA process.
  • Familiarity with Layer 3 protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, GRE.
  • Familiarity with Visio, ServiceNow, and Confluence.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
