About the Role

This newly created position will see you lead a small team to develop and coordinate the strategic asset management framework, analyze life cycle costs and provide recommendations for asset performance and/or improvement.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Leading insights from the Asset Lifecycle Plans to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Managing, leading or supporting programs and projects that drive harmonization and best practice operations.
  • Developing plans to support initiatives, ensuring stakeholders are engaged and providing regular updates, capable of senior leadership communication on a regular basis.
  • Collaborating across business units to develop artefacts and ensuring the artefacts are accepted by the business owners and obtaining appropriate sign-off.
  • Monitoring and tracking the outcomes of Asset Lifecycle Plans and continuously looking for opportunities for improvements.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have/be:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience with proven results in your specialist area, with the ability to translate this to a continuous improvement environment.
  • A strategic thinker who can articulate complex problems into simple concepts and enjoy the various challenges that come with a fast-paced and evolving organization.
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal, who enjoys collaborating with various stakeholders and taking people through change.
  • An organized person with the ability to prioritize, delegate and remain calm under pressure.
  • Commercial acumen to drive value through the business.
