As a key member of SIG's Research team, you will be working closely with senior analysts and traders to identify valuable investment opportunities in the equity or options market.

Our research analysts provide timely opinions on breaking news and in-depth analysis of future volatility events. Your role will involve finding opportunities that other market participants may not be capitalizing on, either by discovering new information or by looking at existing knowledge from a different perspective.

As an Equity Analyst at SIG, you will be embedded in a sector-focused trading desk and the analysis you provide will directly impact trading decisions.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and analyzing upcoming volatility events
  • Providing real-time opinions on breaking news
  • Forecasting dividends
  • Evaluating special situations like mergers and acquisitions and other corporate actions
  • Collaborating with derivative traders on investment ideas
  • Performing stock valuation analysis

We are looking for candidates with a strong academic background and excellent analytical and written skills. You should have a demonstrable interest in the macroeconomic environment and political events. The ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is also essential.
