Job Description:

As a Water Infrastructure Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pump stations, pipelines, treatment plants, and more. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring technical quality from concept through to detailed design.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and managing complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to share knowledge and drive best practices.
  • Mentoring junior engineers to develop technical and professional skills.
  • Contributing to proposals and bids with innovative, client-centric solutions.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong hands-on design experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Proven experience in water infrastructure design, particularly water retaining structures.
  • Familiarity with relevant design tools and Australian Standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
