As a member of our retirement village community, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent service to our residents, who are independent retirees seeking the company and safety of living in a community with like-minded individuals.

About the Role
  • Assist with colourful events and activities that bring joy to our residents.
  • Provide meal and beverage service with a smile, ensuring our residents feel cared for and valued.
  • Set up and clean up dining rooms for meal service and functions, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Respond promptly to resident enquiries and concerns, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
  • Be prepared to respond to call outs and emergencies, using your first aid training to make a positive impact.
  • Undertake regular welfare checks on residents, promoting their health and wellbeing.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks, supporting the smooth operation of our village.
About You
  • Availability for afternoon/sleepover and weekend shifts is essential, as we strive to provide 24/7 care and support.
  • A current Level 2 First Aid Certificate is required (or be willing to obtain), demonstrating your commitment to resident safety.
  • Strong customer service skills, combined with a genuine interest in working with older adults, are crucial for success in this role.
  • High motivation and the ability to take initiative in stressful situations are also essential, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience working within Aged Care, Personal Care or Retirement communities is highly desirable, but not essential.
