Podcast Producer and Editor

Take your podcast production to the next level as a skilled editor responsible for recording, editing, mixing and mastering episodes.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with hosts, guests, and internal teams to deliver high-quality audio content that engages listeners and meets their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee setup and recording of podcast sessions ensuring smooth operation and high-quality audio capture.
  • Edit, mix and master episodes with professional sound quality pacing and flow.
  • Incorporate intros outros music beds ad spots transitions and community contributions as needed.
  • Maintain consistent audio quality across episodes and shows.
Publishing and Upload
  • Manage post-production workflow ensuring timely delivery of episodes.
  • Write format and publish show notes explaining episode theme and key takeaways.
  • Tag and upload metadata links guest information and assets to Acast hosting platform and website.
  • Ensure correct scheduling alignment with publishing calendar.
Collaboration and Coordination
  • Coordinate with hosts guests and internal teams aligning on episode logistics and timelines booking in guests/community members and preparing appropriate content aligned with guest.
  • Monitor listener feedback improving future episode experience.
Growth and Engagement
  • Use audience insights and feedback informing future episodes and content strategy.
  • Stay across podcast trends recommending ways to improve production and engagement.
Requirements
  • Experience producing podcasts or audio content from concept to delivery.
  • Skilled in audio editing tools e.g. Adobe Audition Audacity or similar.
  • Strong storytelling instincts and eye ear for detail.
  • Highly organized managing multiple projects stakeholders.
  • Passionate about media finance making complex topics accessible engaging.
  • Proactive creative owning collaborative mindset.
