Rural Medical Professional Wanted

We are seeking an experienced and skilled General Practitioner to join our team in a rural Tasmanian community. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional who values work-life balance and wants to make a real difference in the lives of their patients.

The role involves providing high-quality medical care to the local population, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our rural practice.

  • General or Vocational Registration with AHPRA is required
  • Experience managing a broad scope of GP presentations is essential
  • A current emergency medicine certificate (ALS2, REST or equivalent) is necessary
  • Recent unsupervised experience in an emergency setting is required
About the Opportunity

  • $1,200/day VMO rate
  • Boost your earnings with a 1:4 to 1:6 VMO roster
  • X-ray training provided (yep, we'll teach you to read the pics)
  • Car, accommodation, and relocation support
  • Eligible for RVTS, ACRRM IP, GPRIP, and Procedural Grants
  • Support from Allied Health and RNs (care plans, immunisations, women's health—you won't be doing it solo)
