Opportunity for Rural Generalist in North Western Tasmania

This is a unique chance to practice emergency skills and utilize your expertise as a Rural Generalist. Our client, a busy practice in Smithton, is seeking a Part/Full-time VR General Practitioner to join their team.

The role offers the potential for 7 full-time GP VMOs, sharing the on-call roster. The hours are flexible, with Monday to Friday shifts from 8am-6pm and Saturday clinic from 9am-11am. The practice has an AGPAL accreditation, ensuring high-quality patient care.

The Hospital where you will be working has 12 acute care beds, emergency services, midwifery clinic, and visiting specialists. You will have access to modern facilities and equipment, allowing you to provide exceptional patient care.

As a rural generalist, you will be part of a dedicated team providing healthcare services to the local community. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals, building strong relationships and making a real difference in people's lives.

This position also offers various benefits, including a competitive salary, relocation assistance, car and accommodation provided, and eligibility for Procedural Grants and GPRIP payments. Additionally, you will be eligible for sponsorship and have access to training schemes such as MDRAP, RACGP PEP, FSP, ACRRM IP, RVTS, and RGTS.
