Job Title: Skilled Healthcare Professional

Permanent Part Time positions (Night shifts) are available for a skilled healthcare professional to provide high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.

About the Role

Our ideal candidate will be providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures. Additionally, they will act as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team. They will work in a safe manner to protect themselves, their colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
