About the Role

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Colgate-Palmolive Villawood Home Care manufacturing team on afternoon shift (3pm - 11pm).

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce a range of Colgate products, including Liquid Home Care and Fabric Conditioners
  • Work safely according to Villawood principles and guidelines
  • Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement
  • Solve problems in the manufacturing environment
  • Work in a team to achieve production targets
  • Ensure product meets all quality specifications
  • Maintain environmental standards in regard to the manufacture of Colgate product
Essential Skills
  • Experience as a Machine Operator in FMCG
  • Ability to work in a technically advanced / automated manufacturing environment
  • Problem solving and ability to respond efficiently to production breakdowns
  • Communication (written and verbal)
  • Ability to record and analyse basic production data
  • Basic computer skills (Windows/Google applications)
  • Teamwork/relationship building/collaboration skills

Qualifications & Experience
  • Forklift License essential
  • Trade Qualifications are highly regarded
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment/similar industry highly regarded
