Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a driven Senior Accountant to join our Business Services team, expanding into leadership roles. If you have the skills and experience required to take your accounting career to the next level, we want to hear from you.

  • About the Role
  • In this challenging role, you will prepare tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts, and high-net-worth clients, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • You will assist with tax planning, business structuring, and advisory engagements, providing expert advice to clients.
  • Your responsibilities will also include supporting clients with business improvement, modelling, and finance strategies, helping them achieve their goals.
  • Liaising directly with clients and partners on technical and commercial matters, you will build strong relationships and provide exceptional service.
  • In addition, you will mentor junior team members, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • What We're Looking For
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business services or tax within a public practice firm, with CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion).
  • Strong tax and compliance knowledge, combined with a proactive and commercial mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and client relationship experience, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Bonus points if you have experience with APS or Xero, but it's not essential.
