Project Cost Management Professional

The HumeLink West project is a major infrastructure development in Australia, connecting Wagga Wagga, Maragle, and Bannaby in regional NSW. This significant undertaking will substantially increase the capacity of the electricity network in Australia's eastern states.


Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert focus on cost trending and forecasting
  • Establish and monitor project baseline budgets
  • Produce regular end-of-month cost reports
  • Maintain risk registers to include change impacts
  • Monitor and report on cost actuals vs budget
  • Liaise with key stakeholders for compiling and submitting client progress claims

As a Project Cost Management Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of the HumeLink West project.


Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial, engineering, finance or similar
  • A minimum of 5 years' practical experience on major infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated expertise with cost management tools (Excel, SAP, Power BI, SharePoint, JD Edwards)
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills, coupled with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment

The ideal candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card and undergo a medical assessment prior to commencement.
