Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the scheduling and dispatching of Field Service Technicians to customer sites to address breakdowns, scheduled maintenance and repairs.

You will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and dispatching Field Service Technicians to customer locations based on geographic location, skills, and urgency of service requests.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently schedule and dispatch Field Service Technicians to customer locations based on geographic location, skills, and urgency of service requests.
  • Monitor real-time field activities and adjust schedules as necessary to meet customer needs and ensure timely completion of service jobs.
  • Communicate job details, including location, customer contact information, and service requirements, to field technicians accurately and promptly.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Minimize travel time and maximize efficiency, reducing operational costs where possible.
  • Handle customer enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner, working towards swift resolution.
  • Collaborate with field technicians and other relevant departments to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records relating to service and breakdown jobs.
  • Coordinate quoted Additional Repair jobs & third-party suppliers for breakdown jobs.
  • Monitor service Work In Progress.
  • Monitor technician's work hours on a daily basis.
  • Generate regular reports on service metrics, including response times, completion rates, job totals etc and present findings to Field Service Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in scheduling, logistics, or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with software applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
