Healthcare Leadership Position

The Clinical Lead plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional support and guidance to Clinicians within Virtual Health. This position ensures high-quality patient care through evidence-based practices and drives continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing expert guidance, direction, orientation, and education to Virtual Health Clinicians (Registered Nurses and General Practitioners working across the GP Helpline and Healthdirect/NURSE-ON-CALL helplines)
- Planning and coordinating services relating to a particular group of clients or patients in the practice setting, as delegated by Virtual Health Clinical Workforce Lead and Virtual Health Clinical Operations Lead
- Leading by example in the provision of holistic care to patients or clients in the practice setting;
- Supporting action research projects and participating in quality assurance programs and policy development within the practice setting.
Requirements:
- Located within Australia
- Registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare system and maintains an unrestricted registration as a registered nurse with AHPRA
- Demonstrates a contemporary knowledge and experience of Healthdirect Virtual Health Services
