Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Business Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Reporting and Accounting Policy team, you'll be responsible for conducting technical assessments on accounting matters, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the creation and maintenance of accounting policy processes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting and documenting technical assessments on accounting matters across various IFRS and US GAAP topics
  • Collaborating with FP&A, procurement, tax, and legal teams to provide accounting guidance on material contracts, business initiatives, and new transactions
  • Supporting the development of accounting policy processes, tools, and materials to efficiently handle accounting issues and queries
  • Assisting in the preparation of external reports and participating in decision-making related to financial and non-financial disclosures

Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise and passion for accounting standards, with experience applying principles under multiple reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP)
  • Experience with topics common in SaaS/tech industries, such as equity or global subsidiaries
  • Business, Finance, or Accounting degree, with CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills to break down complex accounting topics and convey them clearly to various stakeholders
  • Solutions-focused, risk-aware, not risk-averse, with a collaborative mindset to thrive in a team environment
