As a Nutrition Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients in home care within Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents and clients receiving home care packages/NDIS support.
  • Develop personalized nutrition plans and set goals tailored to individual needs.
  • Support individuals with complex dietary requirements, including those with swallowing and chewing difficulties, bowel and intestinal issues, and other health challenges.
  • Implement interventions for weight management, poor appetite, and dysphagia.
  • Manage food intolerances and allergies.
  • Provide education on diabetes management and empower clients and their families to adopt healthy lifestyles within their communities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
  • Dietitians Association of Australia membership with Accredited Practicing Dietitian status.
  • Police Clearance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
